I’ve known Matt and trained under him for quite some time now. He is a legitimate black belt under Jean Jacques Machado and is an excellent teacher. If you have kids who are interested in learning BJJ, Matt’s gym is very family-friendly. Bakersfield BJJ can easily be considered the number one place to learn BJJ in the San Joaquin Valley.
