I have been training with Garth Spendiff (Black Belt under Relson) for a few years and it would be hard to find a better group of people, on or off the mats. The main focus of class is Gracie Jiu Jitsu, but there is a strong combative spirit to the class. Very often we do takedown drills, self defense, and mma concepts with jit jitsu. Coastal Combatives prides itself in its lineage of expert instruction from Master Relson Gracie.
